Scholarships, Internships and Other Funding Sources

We have a special, volunteer & scholarship application form, for those seeking funding.

Scholarships

PREEEF General Scholarship

The PREEEF General Scholarship provides $2000, applicable to (1) the expedition fee and (2) other approved expenses connected with participation in the expedition. It is available to any American citizen or permanent resident, 18 or older. Recipients are required to produce a paper, article, exhibit or other work about folklore or about their experience on the expedition, which we will then share with the public.

Internships

We regret that we are currently unable to offer the editing internship at the Gorky Institute of World Literature (Moscow).
